Trumpet A supervolcanic caldera eruption could fit John’s
description extremely well, maybe even better than a meteor strike in some
respects. Let’s match the imagery from Revelation 8:7 to a caldera eruption: "Hail

a VEI-8 eruption (like Toba ~74,000 years ago) could produce:

if John saw something like this in a vision, a caldera eruption is a very
plausible natural explanation. Did the M8.8 Russia Megaquake Disturb the SUPERVOLCANO MONSTER in

The
Tunguska event was a massive megaton explosion that occurred in Siberia,
Russia, on June 30, 1908. It was likely caused by the airburst of a meteoroid
or comet fragment, which disintegrated in the atmosphere rather than
impacting the Earth's surface. The blast flattened an estimated 80 million
trees across 830 square miles (2,150 square km). The
probability of a meteor hitting Earth depends on its size. Small, house-sized
meteors hit Earth's atmosphere frequently, causing "shooting stars"
and burning up, with a very low chance of reaching the surface. Larger,
potentially dangerous asteroids (over 30 meters) have a much lower frequency
of impact, but their collisions could cause significant damage. The
probability of a significant impact (like the one that killed the dinosaurs)
is extremely low in any given year, and does not fit with the Biblical
prophecy in the Book of Revelation. It's
impossible to say exactly how many undiscovered meteors could potentially
strike Earth, as the vast majority of space rocks are, by definition, not yet
identified. Scientists are constantly working to find and track near-Earth
objects (NEOs), but the sheer number and size of these objects make complete
tracking a continuing challenge. Here's
a breakdown of why it's difficult to know the exact number and how scientists
are addressing the issue: Vastness
of Space: The
solar system is enormous, and there are countless asteroids, comets, and
other space debris beyond Earth's orbit. Difficulty
of Detection: Many
space objects are small, dark, and far away, making them hard to spot with
current telescopes. Ongoing
Discovery: Scientists
are continually discovering new NEOs, and the rate of discovery is
accelerating as technology improves. Focus
on Larger, Threatening Objects: While
scientists strive to catalog all NEOs, the priority
is on identifying those large enough to cause significant damage if they were
to impact Earth. Tracking
and Modelling: Once
a NEO is discovered, scientists track its trajectory and calculate the
probability of a future collision with Earth. Diminishing
Probability: Even
if a NEO's initial trajectory suggests a potential impact, further observations
and calculations often reduce the probability of an actual collision over
time. In
short, while scientists are making progress in finding and tracking
potentially hazardous objects, the vastness and complexity of space mean
there will always be some undiscovered objects that could pose a threat. The
Second Trumpet Yes —
that description in Revelation 8:8–9 lines up almost perfectly with
what we’d expect from a large meteor or asteroid impact into the ocean.
Let’s break it down: "Something
like a huge mountain, all ablaze" ·
A large asteroid or comet entering Earth’s atmosphere would appear as
a fiery, blazing mass, possibly the size of a mountain from the observer’s
perspective. ·
The friction of atmospheric entry would cause it to glow white-hot. ·
“Like” suggests John is using a comparison — he didn’t say it was
a mountain, but that it resembled one. "Thrown
into the sea" ·
Suggests a direct impact into an ocean basin. Modern science shows
that most asteroids are more likely to hit ocean than land because oceans
cover ~70% of Earth’s surface. "A
third of the sea turned into blood" ·
Could describe the reddish hue from massive algal blooms triggered by
nutrient-rich debris, the mixing of iron-rich dust with seawater, or the
visual effect of millions of dead sea creatures in the water. ·
“Blood” could also be symbolic of death and devastation. "A
third of the living creatures in the sea died" ·
A major ocean impact would cause shock waves, enormous heat, and toxic
contamination — instantly killing vast numbers of marine animals in the

The impact-generated mega-tsunamis would devastate coastlines, sinking
ships at sea and wrecking harbours over thousands of kilometres. ·
The energy released by such an event could dwarf any recorded
earthquake or volcanic eruption. This
passage reads less like symbolic imagery and more like an eyewitness
account in pre-scientific language of something that aligns with what
modern impact modelling predicts. It’s eerily close to what happened in real
life with the Chicxulub asteroid 66 million years ago — except that
one hit shallow ocean off Mexico and wiped out most life on Earth. The Third
Trumpet A modern,
naturalistic explanation of the Third Trumpet, could be describing a
large-scale environmental disaster affecting freshwater supplies. From a
purely geographic and environmental perspective, you get a lot of fresh water
in Alaska and Canada, and a lot of wormwood plants. Here’s a breakdown: ·
“A great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky” – This
could represent a meteor, asteroid, or comet impact. The “blazing”
could simply describe the fireball as it enters Earth’s atmosphere. ·
“Fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water” – This
might symbolize contamination of freshwater sources over a wide area.
The “third” could be symbolic of a significant but partial impact on global
water sources. ·
“The name of the star is Wormwood” – Wormwood is bitter, so the text emphasizes the
water becoming toxic or undrinkable. ·
“A third of the waters turned bitter” – Likely
describes poisoning or chemical contamination of freshwater sources.
This could be from toxic runoff, volcanic ash, or chemicals released by an
impact event. ·
“Many people died from the waters that had become bitter” –
Represents mass poisoning, disease, or death from drinking contaminated
water. ·
Freshwater abundance: • Alaska contains roughly 6–7% of the
world’s freshwater. Canada has roughly 20% of the world’s freshwater. With
huge lakes, rivers, and aquifers prevalent. So, if a disaster struck there,
it could potentially affect “a third of the waters” in a regional sense.
while Canada dominates global freshwater, but Alaska is also a major
freshwater reservoir. ·
Wormwood presence: While the
plant Artemisia absinthium (wormwood) isn’t ubiquitous, there are native
or naturalized bitter plants in Canada that could symbolically match the
description. The “Wormwood” name could also be metaphorical — representing
bitterness rather than literally the plant. ·
Environmental impact plausibility: A large
meteor shower, comet fragments, or even a massive industrial/chemical
accident in Canada could contaminate rivers and springs over a wide area,
producing the “bitter waters” effect described. So, yes,
in a modern interpretation, Alaska and Canada could serve as a plausible
“target zone” for the scenario described in the Third Trumpet — at least in
terms of freshwater availability and potential for widespread contamination. The Fourth

created Heaven and Earth and all things in it and on it, including all the
laws of nature. It is my contention that God will fulfil his word through all
the natural laws, the Laws of Nature, the stated regularity in the relations
or order of phenomena in the world that holds, under a stipulated set of
conditions, either universally or in a stated proportion of instances. This
chapter’s descriptions of the Seven Trumpets and Seven Vials are possible
natural explanations of these prophecies. Only God only knows how they will
eventually be realised. Nonetheless, nobody in their right mind will want to
live through the seven years of the Seven Trumpets and Seven Vials. It will
be a terrible time. Add to which the antichrist will be hunting down everyone
who does not bear the “Mark of the Beast.” So, who and what is the

in the Battle of Armageddon, and the 200 million soldiers that will march on
Megiddo in Israel. Where exactly is Megiddo? From the dawn of time, Megiddo,
in northern Israel, has played a central role in the history of the Middle
East. Its first urban characteristics were adopted during the Bronze Age,
around 2900 BCE. In the 15th century BCE, Megiddo witnessed the first
documented battle in human history, between the kings of Canaan and the
Egyptian Pharaoh, after which the Megiddo junction became an important
passageway used by great civilizations.
Today,
Megiddo is a kibbutz, a collectie, traditionally Jewish
agrarian community, that was built in 1949. It is located in the Jezreel
Valley, falling under the jurisdiction of Megiddo Regional Council, which
today comprises 13 communities – nine kibbutzim, one farming community and
three cooperative settlements (moshavim), constituting a home for some 12,500
people. Strategically, the Megiddo Junction is
important because it sits at the entrance to the Wadi Ara
mountain pass that connects northern Israel to the Trans-Israel
Highway and other highways in Israel's coastal plain and, by that, to the
rest of the country. Megiddo is not only an important historical
site, but has also become Israel’s Central Park with breath-taking landscapes
of nature, woods, rivers, agricultural fields and plantations. In Christian apocalyptic literature, The
Holy Bible’s Book of Revelation, Megiddo is identified as the site of the
final battle between the forces of good and evil at the end of time. Known as
Armageddon, it is mentioned only once in the entire New Testament, in
Revelation 16:16. Interestingly, Megiddo appears no less than 11 times in the
Old Testament (KJV). Given its history, Megiddo has been the site of much
chaos, conflict and division, something it will see again in the future, if
the 96 CE apocalyptic prophecies of John the Elder are to be believed. Armageddon then will be the place where the
kings of the earth under demonic leadership will wage war on the forces of
God at the end of the seven-year tribulation period. But why would 200 million soldiers march on
Megiddo? For what purpose? There are only two countries that can put an army
of 200 million – China and India. As we have read in previous chapters, China
is the one with the expansionist ideals and has already tried to take
possession of some of India’s territory. When the Chinese are forced by God’s
hand to go west, India, will have its hands full at blocking China from
invading its country. And, because of the Himalayas, the Chinese will have to
go west, north of the Himalayas. Remember too that they have already built a
railway line from east coast China to Turkey. What is described in this chapter and the
next chapter are, using God’s natural laws and the natural world He created,
as the likely scenarios to explain the Seven Trumpets and the Seven Vials. No
timetables are given, but, and remember, we are in the season of the fig
tree. The first trumpet In the Book of Revelation 8:7, it
says, “The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire
mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth
was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass
was burned up. What is being described here is a massive
volcanic eruption, or two. But let’s link the hail, fire and blood” to a
volcanic eruption. As the volcano erupts, it releases moisture, ash, and
gases into the atmosphere. Within the volcanic plume, electrical charges can
build to trigger lightning and the aerosols can seed rain. Volcanoes can even
produce "mud rain" if the conditions are right. The water content
of volcanic plumes can be greater than that of thunderstorms. The water is
initially transported as a hot vapor, which condenses to liquid in the rising
column and ultimately freezes to ice if the plume cools well below freezing.
Some eruptions even produce volcanic hail. As to the fire and blood part, lapilli are
spheroid-, teardrop-, dumbbell- or button-shaped droplets of molten or
semi-molten lava ejected from a volcanic eruption that fall to earth while
still at least partially molten. These granules are not accretionary, but
instead the direct result of liquid rock cooling as it travels through the
air. The rivers of molten lava look quite like blood flowing. What is important, of course, is which
volcanoes and where. A third of the Earth, trees and grass are burned up in
the process. So, location is important. The Ring of Fire, also referred to as
the Circum-Pacific Belt, is a path along the Pacific Ocean characterized by
active volcanoes and frequent earthquakes. The majority of Earth's volcanoes
and earthquakes take place along the Ring of Fire. The Pacific Ring of Fire
runs through 15 more countries in the world including USA, Indonesia, Mexico,
Japan, Canada, Guatemala, Russia, Chile, Peru, Philippines. A list of

the movement of magma within a volcano. Therefore, one aspect of how
volcanoes and earthquakes are interrelated is the cyclical relationship where
earthquakes cause volcanic eruptions and magma movement causes earthquakes. And, in context, because God has ordained an
army of 200 million who are to march on Megiddo, Russia’s Siberia cannot be
seen as a haven or pathway if something were to go physically wrong in China.
For example, if the Three Gorges Dam were to collapse. If it did, it would
kill millions of people, perhaps 100 million according to some claims, and
displace even more. Up to 400 million people live downstream of the dam.
Farmland would be destroyed. It would be an utter catastrophe. The Gezhouba Dam, the second largest dam in China, is
downstream of the Three Gorges Dam. Combined, the flood from these two dams
would destroy China’s heartland, the 1.8 million square kilometre Yangtze
River Basin, which could also be flooded by a sizable tsunami. Also, earthquake
activity in the East China Sea or the Sea of Japan, along the Ring of Fire,
could trigger a massive tsunami of the coast of China which would inundate
the coastal cities and the Yangtze River Basin. The net effect is the
Chinese, as a nation, will have to go west and conquer. In so doing they will
fulfil Biblical prophecy. Russia, west of the Ural Mountains, will no doubt
partner them. And, talking about Russia, the Russian
boreal forests and grasslands (known in Russia as the Taiga and the Steppes (Pdf))
represent the largest forested and grassland region on Earth (approximately
12 million km2), larger than the Amazon. These forests have
relatively few tree species, and are composed mainly of birch, pine, spruce,
fir, with some deciduous species – all of which combust quite easily. The
grasslands in Russia are called the steppe, which crosses the Russian plain,
south of the Taiga, penetrating deep into Siberia. It comprises three main
types, which run in roughly parallel bands from east to west: forest steppe
in the north, through steppe, to semi -desert steppe in the south. The easterly trade winds blowing over Russia
occur between 3,000 and 7,000 feet. Below that the prevailing winds generally
blow southerly and south westerly. What should be born in mind is the
scientists have proved that the Earth’s core stopped 10 years ago and has now
started to spin in the opposite direction. This will undoubtably affect
climate and the shifting of tectonic plates.
Russia has 117 Holocene (recent millennia)
volcanoes, of which 29 are active. The highest volcanic mountain in Russia is
known as Klyuchevskaya Sopka
and stands at 15,584 feet (4,750 meters) above sea level. It’s also the
biggest active volcano in the Northern Hemisphere. In January 2011, the
Kamchatka Peninsula had four volcanoes erupting simultaneously, all within
110 miles (180km) of each other. These volcanoes are too far away to ignite a
Taiga Forest fire. However, there is the Siberian Traps Caldera, which,
although it has been dormant for 250 million years, could reactivate its
plume, triggered by a EUR-NAM plate boundary shift. The junction between
Eurasian and North American Plates, from the Gakkel
Ridge to the Okhotsk Plate, passes through the sparsely populated arctic
region of Eastern Siberia has very little in the way of recorded seismic
activity. The
Gakkel Ridge (Pdf) is a mid-oceanic ridge, a
divergent tectonic plate boundary between the North American Plate and the
Eurasian Plate. It is a gigantic volcanic mountain chain stretching beneath
the Arctic Ocean. With its deep valleys 5,500 meters beneath the sea surface and
its 5,000-meter-high summits, Gakkel ridge is far
mightier than the Alps. The nearest towns to the Gakkel
ridge beneath the Laptev Sea are Tiksi and Nayba.
Over the year 2022, Tiksi has had 5 earthquakes, one measuring 4.4 on the
Richter Scale. More recently, a moderate 4.6 magnitude earthquake occurred on
8 February 2023, 386 km (240 mi) NNE of Tiksi.
Further south, GPS measurements and other
studies show that the Okhotsk Plate is slowly rotating in a clockwise
direction. Models indicate that it rotates 0.2 degrees/million years about a
pole located north of Sakhalin, in south-eastern Siberia. Together, the divergent Gakkel
Ridge and clockwise Okhotsk Plate will provide the recipe for plate
turbulence. The resurgence of the Serbian Traps Caldera, with its basalt lava
flows, like oozing blood, and setting the Taiga and steppes on fire, will
surprise everyone. A signal that the seven-year Tribulation is just
beginning. This will be a warning, not just a natural catastrophe. The second trumpet In the Book of Revelation 8:8, it
says, “The
second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all
ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a
third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were
destroyed.” What is being described here is an asteroid
hitting Earth. But where exactly? In 2021, the United Nations Conference on
Trade and Development (UNCTAD) estimates that roughly 80 percent of global
trade by volume and 70 percent by value is transported by sea. Of that
volume, 60 percent of maritime trade passes through Asia, with the South
China Sea carrying an estimated one-third of global shipping.1 Its waters are
particularly critical for China, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, all of which
rely on the Strait of Malacca, which connects the South China Sea and, by
extension, the Pacific Ocean with the Indian Ocean. As the second-largest
economy in the world with over 60 percent of its trade in value traveling by
sea, China’s economic security is closely tied to the South China Sea.
A possibility is Apophis (1767891/39/12/3),
a space rock about 1,000 feet (370 meters) across. According to Egyptian
mythology, Apophis is an evil snake-god who tries to
devour the sun every night. Calculations in recent years have proven the
asteroid will safely glide past Earth in both 2029 and 2036. In 2029, Apophis
should pass at a nominal distance of 19,662 miles (31,643 km) from the
Earth's surface. Russian scientists have also claimed that asteroid Apophis
will have a close flyby in 2029 at a distance of 32,000 km from Earth, and
during this time, even a small deviation in its trajectory will cause mass
destruction. However, in a recent report, American space
agency NASA has revealed that planet Earth may actually face massive
destruction in the year 2036, by Apophis striking Earth. The asteroid was
detected in 2004 by NASA and since then NASA has been observing the celestial
body for the past 19 years, finally concluding that the deadly strike may
occur in 2036. Steve Chesley, a NASA scientist, along with his fellow
teammate Paul Khodas from the jet propulsion laboratory of NASA, learned
about the asteroid in 2009, and they have predicted the collision to
precisely occur on April 13, 2036. Dave Tholen and his collaborators at the
University of Hawaii's Institute for astronomy made the observations and
confirmed the updated orbit of Apophis “Apophis is one of those heavenly bodies,
which has attracted the interest of the public, as it was discovered in 2004.
Updated computational techniques and newly available data indicate the
probability of collision of the Earth April 13, 2036," writes NASA on
its website. It could also happen in 2029. Here is why: Passing so close to Earth, our gravitational
pull in all likelihood pulled Apophis’ ever so slightly closer, adjusting its
orbit. What is more, the asteroid’s orbit has been disturbed by the heat it
is taking from the Sun. This phenomenon is called Yarkovsky
effect as the celestial object’s path changes due to heat energy being
radiated asymmetrically. And, because Apophis is a retrograde rotator, it is
drawn closer to the sun, which means it will hit Earth in 2036, most likely
in the South China Sea. It will plunge down to a depth of six miles, at which
point it will explode, generating a massive tidal wave. Once generated, tsunamis radiate outward in
all directions from their source. Unlike wind waves that affect just the
surface of the ocean, tsunamis propagate (move) through the entire depth of
the ocean, from the surface to the floor. Large tsunamis can even move across
entire oceans. Tsunamis move at great speeds and have
tremendous energy; the speed depends on the depth of the water it is
traveling through. The deeper the water, the faster they move. In the deep
ocean, tsunamis can move as fast as a jet plane, over 500 mph (800 km/h), and
can cross entire oceans in less than a day. The distance between waves is the
wavelength. Because of a tsunami's long wavelengths, which can be hundreds of
miles, a tsunami is barely noticeable in the deep ocean and rarely more than
three feet (one meter) high. Mariners at sea will not normally notice a
tsunami as it passes beneath their hulls. As a tsunami enters shallow water
near land, it slows down, wavelengths decrease, waves grow in height, and
currents intensify. At the shore, most tsunamis slow to the speed of a car,
approximately 20 to 30 mph (30 to 50 km/h). According to the research done by David
Crawford of Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, a 250-meter asteroid
would result in less than a 10-meter-high tsunami after 60 km of travel, and
a 500-meter asteroid would result in a 100-meter high
wave after 30 km of travel, and a 10-meter high
tsunami after 200 km of travel. Apophis is 370 metres in diameter. It would
create a Tsunami 61 meters high after 30 km of travel, enough to sink every
ship in the area. See Table below.

Crawford of Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque The south China Sea, 5,559m deep, is an
oblong area running southwest to northeast for about 630 km. It is 324 km at
its widest, with an area of about 178,000 km2. One third of this
sea will be destroyed. We know that dropping a hand grenade or a
stick of dynamite into a river kills a lot of fish. The same effect occurs,
but on a much larger scale, with an asteroid. In addition, new research shows
that an asteroid impact severely acidifies the ocean, wiping out much of the
life residing underwater. And, on top of this, ocean acidity causes red tide,
further killing off marine life. It will be quite devastating. The Third Trumpet In the Book of
Revelation 8:10, it says, “The third angel sounded
his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a
third of the rivers and on the springs of water-- the name of the star is
Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the
waters that had become bitter.”
What we are reading about here is a meteor,
commonly known as a falling star. It is estimated that probably 500
meteorites reach the surface of the Earth each year, but less than 10 are
recovered. This is because most fall into the ocean, land in remote areas of
the Earth, land in places that are not easily accessible, or are just not
seen to fall (fall during the day). The Tunguska event was approximately a
12-megaton explosion that occurred near the Tunguska River in Russia in 1908.
The explosion over the sparsely populated Eastern Siberian Taiga flattened an
estimated 80 million trees over an area of 2,150 km2 (830 square
miles). A meteor, estimated to be 50 to 60 metres (160–200 feet) in diameter
exploded and disintegrated at an altitude of 5 to 10 kilometres (3 to 6
miles) rather than having hit the ground. The meteor, travelling at a speed
of about 96,000 km/h (60,000 mph) is classified as an impact event, even
though no impact crater was found. The country with the most lakes in the world
is Canada, consisting of 879,800 lakes – more lakes than other countries
combined! Canada contains about 62% of the world’s 1.42 million lakes.
Unsurprisingly, Canada is the second-largest country in the world, after
Russia. If you’re wondering why Russia has less than a quarter of the number
of lakes Canada does – it is because the vast majority of Canada was once
situated under a large ice sheet. The huge weight of the ice sheet and
glacial erosion led to the filling up of the landscape with water. So much
that lakes cover almost 9% of Canada’s surface area. And, the highest occurrence of wormwood in
the world is in Ontario, Canada. This state also has almost a third of the
lakes and rivers in Canada with roughly 250,000 lakes and over 100,000 km of
rivers. Wormwood shrubs have extremely bitter
leaves. If consumed, thujone, a chemical found in the plant, can be
neurotoxic, convulsant, and hallucinogenic. Long-term or excessive use of
thujone-rich products can cause restlessness, vomiting, vertigo, tremors, renal
damage, and convulsions – even death. It is most likely in Ontario, Canada that
the meteor announced by the Third Trumpet will hit, either as a ground impact
or an airburst. The fourth trumpet In the Book of Revelation 8:12, it
says, “The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was
struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of
them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of
the night.” What is being described here is a solar and
lunar eclipse. There is just one problem. Eclipses don’t last for hours, but
rather minutes, in any one given place.
Previously, in history, in the Book of
Joshua 10:13, Joshua, as leader of the Israelites, asked God to cause the
moon and the sun to stand still so that he and his army might continue
fighting by daylight. However, in this instance, it’s the darkness that must
prevail for the prophecy to be accurately fulfilled. From astronomy, we know about the phenomenon
of astronomical refraction. This posit contends that the earth continues to
rotate at its normal speed while God supernaturally makes it appear that the
sun and the moon remain in their regular places for longer. Thus, God will
supernaturally provide a longer period of ecliptical darkness so that the
prophecy may be fulfilled. We experience astronomical refraction at
every sunrise and sunset. We have eclipses all the time. lunar
eclipses are more frequent than their solar counterparts. There are zero to
three lunar eclipses per year (although possibly not all at the same location
on Earth) where the Moon passes through at least a portion of the Earth's
umbral shadow (producing a partial to total eclipse). However, there are
special occasions where the eclipses are more pronounced than normal. For
example, 2030 and 2037 are unique years. In Table below, the dates and types of
eclipses to be experienced in 2037 are shown. Solar and
Lunar Eclipses
2037 will not just have its eclipses. It
will also see an exploding star dubbed “Supernova Requiem” appear again. It will
be the fourth time that it will be visible to astronomers. When the light
from a distant object—like a supernova—passes very near to a foreground
galaxy or cluster, something called gravitational lensing causes it to appear
multiple times. The effect is similar to a glass lens bending light to
magnify the image of a distant object, as was first predicted by Albert
Einstein.
According to Steve Rodney, lead researcher
at the University of South Carolina, each magnified image takes a different
route through the cluster and arrives at Earth at a different time. “Whenever
some light passes near a very massive object, like a galaxy or galaxy
cluster, the warping of space-time that Einstein's theory of general
relativity tells us is present for any mass, delays the travel of light
around that mass." So, with astronomical refraction and
gravitational lensing, and God, anything is possible. 2037 also brings double blue moons. The
first one comes in early January 2037, when two full moons occur in the same
calendar month. The second will occur at the end of March 2037. Last but not least, 2037 heralds the
planetary’s ‘greatest conjunction’. If you look to the eastern sky just
before sunrise on September 15, 2037 and you’ll witness the exceedingly rare
sight of the planet Mercury a mere 10” above Saturn, just below the constellation
of Leo. Come back the next morning and you’ll see the sight flipped, with
Saturn 10” above Mercury. From some locations Mercury will actually appear to
transit the “ringed planet.” 2037 then promises to be a unique year in
which these unique phenomena will occur together. The fifth Trumpet Judgment In the Book of Revelation 9: 1, it
says, “And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto
the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened
the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a
great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke
of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto
them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was
commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any
green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of
God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill
them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as
the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man. And in those days shall men
seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall
flee from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared
unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their
faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and
their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were
breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of
chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto
scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt
men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the
bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek
tongue hath his name Apollyon.” A fascinating prophetic description to say
the least. Working backwards through this description, Abaddon, the Hebrew
name or, as in the Greek translation, Apollyon, is the king of the locusts,
and is described as the angel of the abyss, “The Destroyer, or The Angel of
Death." To repeat, the Fifth Trumpet only applies to
those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. But how is
it that people with the seal of God on their foreheads are not taken in the
rapture? There will be those lukewarm Christians who remain after the
rapture, but in realising their mistake, repent and are born again of the
water and of the spirit. The seal, placed on the forehead of these now true
believers, is "a mark” which angels put there but are unseen by the
human eye. However, the destroying angel can see this mark of redemption. As
ordained, these people will be untouched for the five-month duration of this
trumpet call. There is no physical “bottomless” pit on
Earth. The deepest human-made 23-centimetre diameter borehole in Russia
reached 12,262 metres in 1989. It is the deepest human-made hole on Earth,
and remains so as of 2023. In South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia,
Central Asia, and West Asia, there are 1.2 billion Hindus, 780 million
Muslims and 282 million Christians. More than enough people for the
destroying angel to torture, and ostensibly win over to the antichrist’s side. But who is the angel of the abyss, the
destroying angel, the angel of death who is called Abaddon or Apollyon. This
person is not the false prophet or the antichrist or Satan. It is an evil
person, of this Earth. With Xi Jinping casting himself as a
21st-century Mao, and China risking ‘arbitrary rule’, Aljazeera speculated
whether Xi Jinping is China’s new Mao Zedong? He is but he will be too old at
the fifth trumpet call. He is 69 years old. A protégé with the same ideals
and ambitions will in all likelihood take over. Xi’s protégé, Ding Xuexiang,
‘Xi’s most trusted aide’ is a strong candidate. Even so, Xuexiang’s close
working relationship with Xi Jinping and fast rise through party ranks led
many analysts to regard him as a possible successor. For now, we will call whoever succeeds Xi
Jinping as Xi’s protégé.
But why Mao and why a Xi protégé? People would
think that the biggest mass murderer in the history of the world was Adolf
Hitler, the architect of the Holocaust, or the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin,
who may indeed have managed to kill even more innocent people than Hitler
did. But both Hitler and Stalin were outdone by Mao Zedong. From 1958 to
1962, his Great Leap Forward policy led to the deaths of up to 45 million
people—easily making it the biggest episode of mass murder ever recorded. So, why Mao? Xi Jinping and/or Xi’s protégé
have the personal ambition to become a Mao replica, and have already started
with the killing of thousands, if not millions. As one commentator put it, it
has been almost 9 years (at time of writing) since Xi Jinping came to power,
and he has already started large scale destruction. Just consider what he has
done to the Muslim Uyghur community, an ethnic group native to Xinjiang
Province. If the 69-year-old leader remains leader for life, he will surely
match the killing number of Mao in next few years. Jinping is being projected as a personality
cult by the Chinese state-controlled media. The global rise of China and the
‘BRI project’ of Xi Jinping to make China a global superpower is utterly
dangerous for the world, because he would ‘sacrifice’ millions of people to
achieve his dream, just like Mao did. But how does this all tie into the prophecy
of the Fifth Trumpet? Mao was born in the village of Shaoshan, in the Hunan Province.
What is interesting is that the “Floating Islands of Zhangjiajie”, a place
called Wulingyuan, is also found in Hunan. These
are an immense geological wonder, a vast conglomeration of 3,000 stone
pillars rising 1,000 feet and more from the river valleys below. The
combination of dense forests, deep gorges, towering peaks and craggy,
wind-swept trees, and constantly swirling mist give it the appearance of a
mystical and fearful abyss. Just over 300 km away in Changsha, the capital of
the Hunan Province, is the strategically located Changsha Datuopu
military airbase. This airbase serves a flight of supersonic jets, and
helicopters.
No doubt, with all the panic prevailing
during the tribulation period, and with so many human beings, there will be
mass protests. The Chinese use high levels of non-lethal force, deploying an
arsenal of crowd-control measures and weapons, such as tear gas (see below),
pepper spray, rubber bullets, sponge grenades, and bean bag rounds. The sting
in all of these crowd control weapons is quite painful. Then there are new
bio-weapons for crowd control that interfere with the operation of the human
brain, and even target specific ethnic groups. Riot control agents (sometimes referred to
as “tear gas”) are chemical compounds that temporarily make people unable to
function by causing irritation to the eyes, mouth, throat, lungs, and skin.
Tear gas generally consists of aerosolized solid or liquid compounds, not
gas. The Centre for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States tells
us that several different compounds are considered to be riot control agents.
The most common compounds are known as chloroacetophenone (CN) and chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile (CS). Other examples
include chloropicrin (PS), which is also used as a fumigant (that is, a
substance that uses fumes to disinfect an area); bromobenzylcyanide
(CA); dibenzoxazepine (CR); and combinations of
various agents. This five-month period serves as a lead-in
to the horrific, genocidal Sixth Trumpet Judgment. The Sixth Trumpet Judgment In the Book of Revelation 9:13-21, it
says, “The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming
from the horns of the golden altar that is before God. It said to the sixth
angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the
great river Euphrates. And the four angels who had been kept ready for this
very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of
mankind. The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard
their number. The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this:
Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of
lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur.
A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. The power of the
horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like
snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury. The rest of mankind that
were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their
hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver,
bronze, stone and wood--idols that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they
repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their
thefts.” The Euphrates and Tigris Rivers originate in
Turkey, flow through Syria and down through Iraq and into the Persian Gulf. “Gunpowder,” as it came to be known, is a
mixture of potassium nitrate, sulfur (or sulphur),
and charcoal. Together, these materials will burn rapidly and explode as a
propellant. Chinese monks discovered the technology in the 9th century CE,
during their quest for a life-extending elixir. Very clearly, from the description given
above, it is a very aggressive military campaign with a third of mankind
killed. Fire, smoke and sulphur best describe a range of explosive weapons
from bombs to warheads delivered by modern jets and rockets, with their tails
of smoke. It will be a world war with China, Russia, some Asian countries,
Europe and North America involved. There are eight billion people (15
November 2022) in the world with more than half, 4.6 billion people, living
in Asia. If a third of mankind is to die, that will be 2,7 billion people. Given the natural events that have taken
place in Siberia, the South China Sea and the Pacific Rim, as a result of the
preceding Trumpet Judgements, and China’s aggressive Belt and Road Initiative
(BRI) and the fact that they have built the rail line connecting China to
Turkey, and beyond, the Chinese will move west, transporting equipment,
weapons and manpower by rail. When the rest of the world sees this, they will
react and, with no doubt, a world war will break out. The weak link of the Silk Road train is at
the harbour city of Aktau, in Kazakhstan on the Caspian Sea. The train has to
be ferried across the Caspian Sea to the Azerbaijan port of Baku. This is a
potential bottleneck in transporting equipment, weapons and personnel that
China is only too aware of and, as such, has been busy with an alternate
plan. More recently, China has concluded a number
of bilateral relationships and projects, including rail and road connectivity
with Kazakhstan (14 projects), Kyrgyzstan (11 projects), Tajikistan (16
projects), Uzbekistan (5 projects), and Turkmenistan (5 projects). China has
also, signed a $400 billion deal with Iran that paves the way for Iran's
participation in “Belt and Road” Initiative. This will introduce a high-speed
route from China to Tehran.

10:1-11 and 11:1-14 speaks of angels, scrolls, the seven thunders (of
what is said is not revealed), God’s will, the temple of God and the altar,
the two witnesses who will be given great powers and witness for 1260 days,
and that John must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and
kings. It also tells us that Abaddon will kill the two witnesses and that
their bodies will lay in the street for three days before God resurrects them
and takes them into Heaven. And, at that very hour there was a severe
earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were
killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to
the God of heaven. It is important to note that this all takes
place in Israel and, more specifically, Jerusalem. Beyond our earthly vision, a war will be
fought in Heaven between the God’s angel, Michael, and his angels, against
the dragon, and his angels, who fought back. They will not be strong enough,
and will lose their place in heaven. They will be hurled down. The second woe has passed; the third woe is
coming. The seventh trumpet judgment Then, at the sounding of the seventh
trumpet, it signals the long-awaited arrival of the Kingdom of God on earth.
In the Book of Revelation 11: 17, it says, “The seventh angel sounded his
trumpet. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an
earthquake and a great hailstorm.”
Obviously, from the description of
lightning, rumblings and pearls of thunder we are talking about a really bad
thunder storm. A 6.5 magnitude earthquake is expected to
strike Israel and its surroundings in the coming years, a new study warns.
The study, conducted by Tel Aviv University researchers and published in the
Science Advances journal, states that there exists a pattern of destructive
earthquakes that hit the region every 130 to 150 years. As the last one hit
the region 93 years ago, the study claims that another should shake the
Jewish state in the near future. This is most likely going to happen sooner
rather than later - because of tectonic plate shift. Ruth Schuster, writing for Nature
Geoscience, reported that an Israeli-Dutch team of scientists had been able
to prove that a plate tectonic event can cause a global chain reaction. That
is, one tectonic event triggers another event which triggers yet another. It
happens slowly, but a chain reaction it is. They discovered that the African
plate did indeed accelerate and rotate in time past. This rotation in turn
caused a sequence of tectonic events, including a new subduction zone in the
Western Mediterranean, which in turn pulled that part of the Mediterranean
apart. They were able to show for the first time that plate tectonics doesn’t
work in isolated tectonic events, but rather tectonic events along geological
history can be connected. It seems obvious but someone needed to show it and
now they have. This means that the earthquake caused by the ongoing split of
Africa’s Nubian plate from the Somalian Plate triggers more Dead Sea and Sea
of Galilee earthquakes. Israeli scientists at the Hebrew University
of Jerusalem have invented a new way to detect submarine earthquakes as they
begin, giving people on land precious extra time to head for high ground.
Nonetheless, 7,000 will die as prophesied. If you survived the seven trumpet judgments
you now face the seven vial judgments. God’s wrath on those who took the mark
of the beast will be in particular trouble. For those who did not take the
mark of the beast, and fled to a safe haven, it will be a tough three and a
half years. You may not survive but what is most important is that you walk
