How worried should we be about the geophysics of the Afar region

The Afar region (northeastern Ethiopia, Djibouti, and part of Eritrea) is one of the most geophysically active places on Earth — it’s where three tectonic plates are pulling apart:

  • Nubian Plate (to the west)
  • Somali Plate (to the south)
  • Arabian Plate (to the northeast)

This triple junction is opening at a rate of roughly 2–3 cm per year, making Afar a literal preview of an ocean basin in the making.

Why Afar is geophysically significant

  • Active continental rifting — the crust is thinning, creating long faults and deep fissures.
  • Volcanism — numerous active and restless volcanoes, including Erta Ale, one of the few permanent lava lakes on Earth.
  • Seismicity — frequent small to moderate earthquakes (mostly <5.5 magnitude), with potential for larger ones.
  • Hydrothermal activity — hot springs, geysers, and rapidly forming new geological features.

Short-Term Risks (Next 10–50 Years)

Risk

Level

Notes

Volcanic Eruption

High (localised)

Several volcanoes erupt on decadal timescales; explosive events possible but most are basaltic lava flows.

Earthquakes

Moderate–High

Generally moderate magnitude but can damage infrastructure; risk is highest near rift faults.

Surface Fissuring

High (local)

Rapid ground cracking can disrupt roads, villages, and rail lines (as in 2005 Dabbahu rifting event).

Gas & Hydrothermal Hazards

Moderate

CO₂ and SO₂ release can be dangerous in low-lying areas.

Why this matters beyond Afar

  1. Strategic Location — Afar sits at the junction of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, meaning significant geophysical changes could influence shipping routes, ports, and naval strategy.
  2. Regional Stability — Infrastructure damage, displacement, or food/water stress could exacerbate political tensions in Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Djibouti.
  3. Climate & Dust Storm Influence — Volcanic ash and geothermal gases can affect local air quality and, in big eruptions, regional climate.
  4. Long-Term Transformation — Afar will eventually become a new sea, changing East African geography — but that’s on a million-year timescale.

How worried should we be right now?

  • If you live in Afar or nearby: Be prepared for moderate earthquakes, occasional lava flows, and ground fissuring — these are ongoing, not hypothetical.
  • If you’re in the wider Horn of Africa: Volcanic ash and earthquake-induced disruptions to roads, rail, and ports are the main indirect risks.
  • Globally: Minimal immediate concern — Afar’s activity is dramatic but geographically limited.

Summary:
We should be concerned about Afar in the local and regional sense, especially for hazard preparedness and infrastructure resilience. But for the broader world, the “Africa splitting” narrative sounds dramatic yet unfolds slowly; the main hazards are volcanic and seismic events affecting the Horn of Africa’s stability, not sudden catastrophic plate breakage.

Will Africa's splitting tectonic plates affect the afar region

Yes — in fact, the Afar region is the frontline of Africa’s splitting.

What’s happening there isn’t just “affected” by tectonic plate movement — it is the active zone where the plates are pulling apart.

Why Afar Is central to Africa’s splitting

  • Triple Junction: Afar is where three tectonic plates meet — the Nubian Plate, Somali Plate, and Arabian Plate.
  • Rift Arms:
    • Red Sea Rift (north) — spreading between Nubian and Arabian Plates
    • Gulf of Aden Rift (east) — spreading between Arabian and Somali Plates
    • East African Rift (southwest) — spreading between Nubian and Somali Plates
  • Mantle Plume Heat: A hotspot beneath Afar is pushing magma upward, weakening the crust and driving rifting.

How the Splitting Affects Afar Now

  • Frequent Earthquakes — usually small to moderate (M4–M5.5), but enough to damage infrastructure locally.
  • Volcanic Activity — Afar hosts some of the most active volcanoes in Africa, like Erta Ale and Dabbahu.
  • Ground Fissuring — in 2005, the ground in Afar tore open for ~60 km in days, dropping several metres and filling with magma.
  • Surface Subsidence — the land is slowly sinking in places as the crust stretches and thins.
  • Geothermal & Gas Release — CO₂ and SO₂ emissions are common, with local air quality and health impacts.

Short-Term (10–50 years) Outlook

  • Local hazard level: High for volcanic and seismic events.
  • Regional impact: Possible disruptions to infrastructure, rail links, and trade corridors between Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Eritrea.
  • No sudden ocean: The rift is widening at a few cm/year — it will take millions of years to open a new sea.

Bottom line:

The splitting of Africa’s plates is the tectonic process shaping Afar, and it directly drives the region’s earthquakes, volcanoes, and surface changes. In the near term, the main concerns are localized hazards, not continent-wide catastrophe.

Chapter Seven

The Seven Seals of Revelation

In the not-too-distant future, the world will think a revival has come. But they'll be wrong. Because what looks like peace will become the world's deadliest trap. The Bible warns us that in the middle of this peace something dark will enter. A man, born of this world, not just any man but a man the Bible calls the beast, the son of perdition, the antichrist, will walk into the Third Temple. When he enters this Holy place, he will do the unthinkable and declare himself God. But even that is only the beginning. What follows will be unlike anything we've seen before. You don’t want to be around when these things happen. When will it happen? That time is described in the Book of Revelation. It begins with the seven seals, continues with the seven trumpets and ends with the seven vials. Can you avoid it? Yes, you can. Read Chapter 6. If you don’t take the good advice given, you had better read Chapter 9. Your choice.

Thanks to the Hubble telescope's observations, astronomers have traced the formation of galaxies and discovered that, on a very large scale, matter in the Universe is arranged in a wispy network consisting of huge clusters of galaxies, linked to one another by dense filaments of gas and invisible dark matter and interspersed with gigantic cosmic voids. This network of structure is called the 'cosmic web' can be explained using Georg Cantor’s ‘set theory’ where the universe is a collection of definite, distinguishable interrelated objects, real and perceived, all within sets, sub-sets, sub-sub-sets.

The ‘cosmic web’ is governed by the laws of quantum physics. Which are set in space and time

There are two rules. First, a particle can be in quantum superposition where it behaves as though it is both here and there, and secondly when measured, the particle will be found either here or there. Many phenomena predicted by quantum physics can be understood using these two simple rules, as can the omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence of God.

Observed quantum phenomena and conscious experience occur when the observer absorbs and receives the vibrations, including the information, energy, and matter carried in the quantum field. In this work, we propose to define the soul as the content of the information carried in one’s quantum vibrational field. With this definition and using quantum physics, one can make seven predictions about the soul:

1)      The soul is the essence of one’s existence, determining every aspect of life.

2)      The soul may continue its journey when the physical body stops functioning.

3)      The soul can be eternal and unlimited in spite of the limitation of the physical body.

4)      One may connect with, communicate with, and affect other souls remotely.

5)      There exists the “Akashic Records,” a universal quantum vibrational field carrying the information, energy, and matter about everything.

6)      Spiritual abilities, such as intuition, direct knowing, telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychokinesis, can be scientifically explained.

7)      The soul gives meaning and purpose to life. These predictions agree with widespread common spiritual wisdom.

Let me start this chapter by saying that it is not for me to say when God calls you, or me. That may be tomorrow, the day after, next month, next year or at some point in the future. We don’t know when God will call us. In the Book of Matthew 24:36-51 it says, “No one knows when that day or time will be. The Son and the angels in heaven don't know when it will be. Only the Father knows.”

Natural law

The Book of Genesis tells us how God created the Heavens and the Earth and all things in and on it, which means all the natural laws were created by God, and are used by God to accomplish his word and commands. These important universal laws are:

1. Law of Divine Oneness: The first and most foundational law of the universe is the Law of Divine Oneness, which highlights the interconnectedness of all things. It says that beyond our senses, every thought, action, and event is in some way connected to anything and everything else.

2. Law of Vibration: At a microscopic level, everything is in constant motion, vibrating at a specific frequency. This applies to matter but also one's personal frequency as well. This law says that our vibrational frequency can inform our lived experience.

3. Law of Correspondence: This law states that patterns repeat throughout the universe, and on a personal level, our reality is a mirror of what's happening inside us at that moment. Think "As above, so below. As within, so without."

4. Law of Attraction: Undoubtedly the most talked about universal law, the law of attraction is often used for manifestation. It says that like attracts like, and you get what you focus on. Not only that, but you have to believe what you're seeking is possible to obtain.

5. Law of Inspired Action: Closely related to the law of attraction, the law of inspired action is all about taking those real, actionable steps to invite what we want into our lives. Often the inspiration comes from within. "Inspired action is that gentle, internal nudge," Kumar says. "It's not always a plan of action."

6. Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy: This law states that on an energetic level, everything in the universe is constantly evolving or fluctuating. The Laws of Thermodynamics refer to a set of principles governing energy conservation, heat transfer, and entropy in systems.

7. Law of Cause and Effect: Relatively straightforward, this law highlights the direct relation between actions and events. What's important to note here, according to Kumar, is we often can't see the effects right away, but they will come back around.

8. Law of Compensation: The law of compensation relates closely to the law of attraction and the law of correspondence. "You reap what you sow" is the main takeaway, with the law stating your efforts will always come back to you positively. If you are seeking something, you must contribute in some way toward your goal.

9. Law of Relativity: This law suggests that we are inclined to compare things in our world, but in reality, everything is neutral. Relativism exists in all things, and in the end, meaning comes down to our perspective and perception.

10.Law of Polarity: This law says that everything in life has an opposite; good and evil, love and fear, warmth and cold. The key is understanding these are all two sides of the same coin.

11. Law of Rhythm: Cycles are a natural part of the universe. Physically, you can think about the seasons on Earth. In our own lives, we can remember that integration is just as important as growth. Kumar notes, "We expect ourselves to be one way all the time, whether we're thinking about our health or even productivity," but this is not sustainable.

12.Law of Gender: And lastly, the law of gender has to do with the masculine and feminine energy that exists in all things. Kaiser notes that much of our society has historically operated from a masculine, "hustle and do" mentality, which doesn't allow for much room to just be.

Nothing on or in the universe happens without these laws being in effect.

Laws, given by God, that directly bear on humanity were given by God to Moses. The 10 Commandment’s list, in short form are:

·         You shall have no other gods before Me.

·         You shall not make idols.

·         You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.

·         Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

·         Honor your father and your mother.

·         You shall not murder.

·         You shall not commit adultery.

·         You shall not steal.

·         You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.

·         You shall not covet.

The Book of Revelation speaks of the Four Riders of the Apocalypse. Each rider is described separately, and must be understood in each of their individual capacities. As I said, they are road signs. If you have been watching you will have seen these signs.

The First Seal: In the Book of Revelation 6:2 John of Patmos says, “I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.” Through history we read that the British Empire, composed of the dominions, colonies, protectorates, mandates, and other territories, was ruled or administered by the United Kingdom and its predecessor states. It began with the overseas possessions and trading posts established by England between the late 16th and early 18th centuries. At its height during Queen Victoria’s reign (1890 (9)) it was the largest empire in history and, for over a century, was the foremost global power. It achieved this through its navy, with white being the dominant colour. Between 1818 (18>9) and 1962 (18>9) (144 years (9)), the sun never set on the British Empire (2992918 547995>79>16>7).

The Second Seal: In the Book of Revelation 6:4 it says, “Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.” The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) (35965 66 164952 163913912 957323931>144>9), a flagship communist state, which country's roots lay in the October Revolution of 1917 (18>9), when the Bolsheviks, under the leadership of Vladimir Lenin, overthrew the Russian Provisional Government that had earlier replaced the House of Romanov of the Russian Empire. From 1945 (10>1) onwards, with the advent of the Cold War, the USSR expanded its influence by creating the Eastern Bloc across states like Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary. Joseph Stalin set up puppet communist governments that he could control. He repressed anyone who resisted.

In countries across the world, where the majority were being abused by their respective governments, disenchanted political groups embraced the romance and ideology of the communist revolution. It spread to China, and with Mao Zedong's rise to power. It crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Cuba, with Fidel Castro's rise to power. Thereafter, communist revolution spread to North Korea, Vietnam and Laos. The USSR also supported African countries and their struggle for independence. These countries included Angola, Mozambique, Ghana, Guinea, Senegal, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and South Africa, amongst others. Some Latin American countries also embraced communism, such as Uruguay, Ecuador and, most notably, Nicaragua and Venezuela. And, the predominant colour of the USSR was red.

Russia’s KGB (11/2) was responsible for foreign intelligence, domestic counterintelligence, technical intelligence, protection of the political leadership, the security of the Soviet Union's frontiers and promoting communism in other countries. Its badge comprised a shield with a great sword. Communism was renowned for promoting revolution in other counties. The United Soviet Socialist Republic lasted from 1917 (18>9) to 1989 (27>9), 72 (9) years, before it collapsed.

The Third Seal: Then, in the Book of Revelation 6:5 it says, “I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds[a] of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!” This is Africa (169931>29>11>2) (1957 onwards) with its constant famines, pestilences, war and starving millions. Ongoing conflict, climate change, extreme poverty, displacement and political instability create the conditions that ultimately lead to famine. Conflict is often the main catalyst for famines and Africa has been at war with itself since the imperialist colonisers began withdrawing from Africa, granting independence to their previously held colonies. In total, there have been 549 intra and inter- state wars and conflicts in Africa.

These conflicts are said to have been caused by a multiplicity of factors such as arbitrary borders created by the colonial powers, heterogeneous ethnic composition of African states, inept political leadership, corruption, the negative effect of the external debt burden, and poverty. 34 out of 53 countries are classified as poor, low-income economies. Nearly 4 million Africans have died during Africa’s many conflicts. 278 million people suffer from chronic hunger. This corresponds to 20 percent of the continent's population. Poor nutrition and hunger is responsible for the average death of 3.1 million children per annum. That's nearly half of all deaths in children under the age of 5. The children die because their bodies lack basic nutrients. In all, more than 10-million people die in Africa every year because of hunger and disease. What is more, the future looks bleak.

The Fourth Seal: As to this last rider, the Book of Revelation 6:7 says, “I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. So, who is the fourth Rider? The clue to which country or group of countries could be the Pale Horse is mentioned in the Book of Revelation 9:16-18 where it says, “The army had 200 million soldiers on horses. I heard them say how many there were. 17 I saw, as God wanted to show me, the horses and the men on them. The men had pieces of iron over their chests. These were red like fire and blue like the sky and yellow like sulphur. The heads of the horses looked like the heads of lions. Fire and smoke and sulphur came out of their mouths. 18 One-third part of all men was killed by the fire and smoke and sulphur that came out of their mouths.”

The clue to which country or countries could put together an army of 200 million men to fight in the Book of Revelation 16:16 prophecy, in the Plains of Megiddo points only to two possibilities. China or Islam.

The Valley of Megiddo in northern Israel, is a large plain where you can find the kibbutz Megiddo. West of this valley lies the Carmel Mountain range, and to the east, the Jordan Valley. The large size of this plain is, in part, the reason why so many battles were fought here.

Both China and Islam have global aspirations. And, in both cases, their long-term strategies have been well thought through. In each case, it is to build a global order and ultimately inculcate its brand of socialism or Islamic faith across and throughout the four corners of the Earth.

The third globalist ambition, the Great Reset, with its magic words ‘stakeholder capitalism’, which we will deal with first, is a concept that World Economic Forum chairman Klaus Schwab has been hammering for decades. The idea is that global capitalism should be transformed so that corporations no longer focus solely on serving shareholders but become custodians of society by creating value for customers, suppliers, employees, communities and other stakeholders. The way the WEF sees stakeholder capitalism being carried out is through a range of ‘multi-stakeholder partnerships’ bringing together the private sector, governments and civil society across all areas of global governance. Simply put, big business will own everything, you will own nothing and be happy. Socialism under another name?

Even so, the architects of all three globalist ambitions will pursue and are pursuing their respective implementation agendas with subtle, sly, calculating and chess minded determination.

China

Brookings Research paper, Global China: Regional influence and strategy, produced by its team of Tarun Chhabra, Rush Doshi, Ryan Hass and Emilie Kimball, encapsulates China’s global ambitions. They say, “Not long ago, China was viewed primarily as a regional actor with a predominant focus on events in its near abroad. In the span of a few short decades, China has established itself as a global actor. It has solidified its role as one of a small handful of countries with interests spanning the globe and the capacity to act on them. China’s presence is now felt in every corner of the world, from the South Pacific to South and Central Asia, the wider Middle East, Latin America, and points in between.”

The long-term goal of world communism is an unlimited worldwide communist society that is classless, moneyless, stateless, and nonviolent, which may be achieved through an intermediate-term goal of either a voluntary association of sovereign states as a global alliance, or a world government as a single worldwide state, obviously with China at the helm.

But what of China’s track record. It has been estimated that communist China, between 1949 (23>5), their October Revolution, the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989 (27>9) to present day December 2024, the communists have murdered an estimated 102,7 million people. The communist government, during Mao Zedong's rule (1949-1976), and cultural revolution, was responsible for at least 45 million of those deaths. Victims were killed through starvation, persecution, excessive hard labour while imprisoned, and mass executions. Since 1989, every year, China’s religiously intolerant communist party, detains, kidnaps, imprisons and murders, on average, 16, 000 Christians every year. Judaism is banned in China. There is a small Jewish population and, as with Christians, they too are persecuted. The Muslim Uyghur genocide is also well known. At least 1,5 million have been killed and another 1,8 million are currently detained in the Xinjiang internment camp where they are tortured and brainwashed. Even children are interned in special boarding schools where they too are brainwashed.

Then, the now notorious Wuhan Institute of Virology, which has in the past collaborated with the United States, France, and Canada, is what can only be described as a place of evil that is focused on devising biological weapons for the sole purpose of killing people. One of the viruses created by the Wuhan laboratory is the COVID 19 virus. They have also created the less known Nipah virus and the Langya virus. Who knows what other horrible diseases they have created. COVID-19 infection outbreaks occurred in Mainland China first, before spreading around the world. A total of 6,7 million people have died from COVID-19 so far. What is more, the disease keeps mutating. The Omnicrom “Kraken Xbb.1.5” strain that spread to Africa, Europe, and the Americas. It was highly infectious. Currently, the dominant variant nationwide is XEC, with 44% of cases, followed by KP.3.1.1, with 39% of cases, and MC.1, with 6% of cases. "The original omicron variant is gone now," says Dr. Rupp. "Currently subvariants of omicron are circulating, including LB.1, KP.3, and LF.7."

Next, there is nature itself, or, because China’s Wuhan laboratory is involved, that nature is being given a helping hand. We can only speculate, but given the reality of what the Wuhan laboratory is and does, we cannot be blamed for speculating. China has confirmed three more H9N2 avian flu cases in different provinces, according to a regular avian flu update from the Hong Kong Centre for Health Protection. The illness onsets occurred in October and November. The patients include a 58-year-old man from Hunan province, a 5-year-old girl from Gansu province, and a 3-year-old boy from Anhui province.  H9N2 is known to circulate in poultry in parts of Asia, with most human cases reported in China. Infections are typically mild and affect mostly children. The country's most recent cases involved two children, one from Guangdong province and the other from Gansu province, who became ill in August and September, respectively. Bird Flu, as in the case of a little girl in Ecuador, can be dangerous. She is seriously ill. Amongst birds, it has a 60% fatality rate.

With 102,7 million people killed by communist Chinese and 7,010,681 dead from COVID-19 world-wide, is this the beginning of Death and Hades? It would seem so

China, under its current president, Xi Jinping, and his predecessors, adopted an aggressive, global expansionist policy. The Qing dynasty was seen to be the return of Chinese expansionist policies. Under the Qing rule, China expanded beyond the Great Wall and started to annex more territories in process. The Qing invaded Korea, managed to conquer Mongolia, and also annexed modern territories of Xinjiang and Tibet as well.

The Indian Defence Review went on record to say that China has well laid out long-term strategic goals, dovetailing territorial expansion and economic objectives. China sees itself as fulfilling a global leadership role and is aiming to dislodge the USA from its world leadership role. Naturally, it condones no competition from India to its hegemony in South Asia. Moreover, China appears on course.

China also sees itself as an economic powerhouse. With a $ 18.5 trillion economy, it envisions itself catching up with USA’s $ 28.8 trillion economy by exploiting the natural resources in the South China Sea, and is why it has annexed the Parcel and Spratly Islands. The South China Sea disputes involve both island and maritime claims among several sovereign states within the region, namely Brunei, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), the Republic of China (Taiwan), Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

An estimated$3.37 trillion worth of global trade passes through the South China Sea annually that accounts for a third of the global maritime trade. China’s crucial energy imports and 39.5 per cent of its total trade passes through the South China sea.

The U.S. Energy Information Agency estimates that the South China Sea holds about 190 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and 11 billion barrels of oil in proved and probable reserves, most of which lie along the margins of the South China Sea rather than under disputed islets and reefs. China’s seven militarised islands is its strategy to secure it becoming the biggest economy in the world.

China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a global infrastructure development strategy adopted by the Chinese communist government in 2013 to invest in nearly 150 countries and international organizations. It is considered a centrepiece of the Chinese leader Xi Jinping's foreign policy. The BRI forms a central component of Xi's "Major Country Diplomacy" As of August 2022, 149 countries were listed as having signed up to the BRI. Examples of Belt and Road Initiative infrastructure investments include ports, skyscrapers, railroads, roads, bridges, airports, dams, coal-fired power stations, and railroad tunnels.

What is significant about the BRI is, as in 2019, the first China Railway Express line train reached Turkey from China’s east coast. The train crosses into Europe via Istanbul's Marmaray tunnel, a subsea tunnel, reaching a railway station in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul.  The significance of this railway line becomes apparent when we consider the Battle of Armageddon and the logistical need to move men, equipment, food, ammunition etc. for an army of 200 million men to Turkey where they will attack Israel.

Of note is that this railway lime passes through a number of Islamic countries, including Iran. Under a 25-year agreement (signed on 24 June 2020 in Beijing), China is to invest US$400 billion in Iran's economy in exchange for a supply of oil and the right to reroute the railway south around the Caspian Sea, cutting out its existing east-west water crossing, and tracking directly into Turkey.

China’s military prowess grows by the day. It is fast marching ahead. As per the Global Fire Power Review, China’s military-might ranks third behind the USA and Russia. With 2.18 million strength defence force, it boasts of the highest number of active military personnel in the world. India is a distant second with a force of 1.23 million. China has an impressive array of land, air and marine equipment and armament. The Federation of American Scientists, a thinktank, estimates that China possesses approximately 240 nuclear warheads, which further makes China a high-tech superpower. This in fact is the cornerstone of Xi’s presidency.

Islam

The Muslim invasion of the Western World, from Europe started in the 8th century. From Portugal and Spain in the west, Sicily and Italy in the centre to Belarus, Lithuania, and Poland in the east. In the 17th century the Muslims were finally expelled from Europe. However, small pockets of Muslims remained. Fast forward to the 20th and 21st centuries with Europe opening its doors to every Muslim “refugee”, the “peaceful” invasion of Europe began in earnest, and it’s been a disaster! Wherever Islamists go, trouble follows. Terrorist attacks begin and violence erupts.

Tracking the Islamic protests in London and other European cities in support of the implementation of Sharia Law in place of Western law, values and principles questions the motivation behind their leaving Islamic countries where they were so “unhappy” just to recreate exactly what they had left raises the spectre of it being a carefully planned invasion strategy of defeating the enemy from within. Looking at the makeup of migrants, they are all military age men. No Women. They come later once they have secured their residence in the country of choice.

And, wherever they go they cause problems. No one sums up the Islam’s eerie vision for Europe better than the figurehead of nonviolent Islamism, Yusuf al-Qaradawi. As he stated on Qatar TV in July 2007: “The peaceful conquest has foundations in this religion, and therefore, I expect that Islam will conquer Europe without resorting to the sword or fighting. It will do so by means of da’wa and ideology.” The common European values of democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and legal equality are weakened at the margins for every European citizen won over to the cause of Islam. Clearly, to preserve Western culture, the European Union and its member states must reject the Islamic strategy.

Multiculturalist policies that protect Islamists, and immigrants, and their right to use democracy to replace Western culture must not be allowed and must be rejected by European citizens. And, where Islamists cannot use democracy as a tool and they turn to protesting, Germany’s policy in dealing with Islamist extremists should be the example: deportation without question.

Interestingly, even at times of war and hostility, the Prophet Mohammed laid down strict rules of engagement which made it absolute that women, children and non-combatants must not be killed and infrastructure must not be destroyed. The Prophet rejected all types of terrorism in the name of Islam. And yet Sharia promotes terrorism. The 2001 September 11 attacks on the USA’s New York Twin Towers where 2,977 men and women were killed flies in the face of Mohammed’s “strict” rules.

Mahyer Tousi of Tousi TV reported on the 22nd of November 2024, that the Muslim Discussion Circle in the UK held an event in central London to answer the question “How do we change the identity of a society.” Its sole purpose was to come up with different ways of changing the identity of a British society. One example is Sharia law. Britain has emerged as the "western capital" for sharia courts, with 85 Islamic councils across the country. These religious bodies hold immense influence, and Muslims from across Europe and North America are seeking rulings on marriage and family matters. The National Secular Society has expressed concerns about the existence of a parallel legal system, according to The Times, UK. The first sharia council was established in 1982.

The sweet talk of Islam is that it seeks to establish an equilibrium between two aspects of life - the material and the spiritual. It says that everything in the world is for man, but man was created to serve a higher purpose, which is the establishment of a moral and just order that will fulfil the will of Allah. Pretty words that hide the “how.”

Apostasy, the abandonment or renunciation of Islam is considered a crime punishable by death, the traditional form of punishment for both male and female apostates for rejecting, leaving Islam. So, if you are an infidel, a non-believer of Islam, e.g. a Jew, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist etc, as an apostate, you should be given a grace period of three days to reconsider your decision to reject or leave Islam. Thereafter, the punishment is death. Your captor is then entitled to kill you and take your wife, daughter and mother as his concubines, or kill them as he so wishes. So it is written.

In the Quran 9: 5, it says, “But once the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists (e.g. Christians with their Triune God) wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way. But if they repent, perform prayers, and pay alms-tax, then set them free. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

But Islam can be very harsh. In the Quran 8:12 is very clear. It says, “When your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."

From the table we can see that Muslim countries cannot put an army of 200 million men without China’s help, or for that matter India’s. This, even though they have 1.9 billion followers spread around the globe they will have to convert all the Christians, communists, agnostics, atheists and Hindus to achieve world domination

The fifth Seal

In the Book of Revelation 6:9-11, it says, “When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”

It is difficult to believe, and perhaps not, that in 2024 there are countries that persecute Christians. Open Doors is an organisation that has been monitoring the worldwide persecution of Christians since the 1970s. And, since 1992, detailed data on the persecution of Christians has been gathered and published. The World Watch List (WWL) methodology has gradually evolved and was comprehensively revised in 2012 by Open Doors’ research unit, World Watch Research (WWR)in order to provide greater credibility, transparency, objectivity and academic quality. Further refinements are regularly made.

The broad definition of persecution includes (but is not limited to) restrictions, pressure, discrimination, opposition, disinformation, injustice, intimidation, mistreatment, marginalization, oppression, intolerance, infringement, violation, ostracism, hostilities, harassment, abuse, violence, ethnic cleansing and genocide.

There are twelve countries in which extreme persecution of Christians (81 to 100 points) exists. The World Watch List 2024 has these countries as:

1.      Afghanistan

2.      North Korea

3.      Somalia

4.      Libya

5.      Yemen

6.      Eritrea

7.      Nigeria

8.      Pakistan

9.      Iran

10.  India

11.  Saudi Arabia

12.  Bangladesh

Then they have 39 countries where the persecution of Christians is very high (62 to 80 points). These countries are:

13.   Myanmar

14.   Sudan

15.   Iraq

16.   Syria

17.   Maldives

18.   Qatar

More than 365m Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith.

·         1 in 7 Christians are persecuted worldwide

·         1 in 5 Christians are persecuted in Africa

·         2 in 5 Christians are persecuted in Asia

For example, “Christians who remain in Afghanistan in the wake of the Taliban’s takeover face routine torture and persecution from both the Taliban government and their own friends, families and communities, according to humanitarian and watchdog groups,” Fox News Digital reported on 29 August 2022 citing a recent interview with the CEO of the anti-Christian persecution organization Open Doors USA.

And, the Baptist Press reported that Christian deaths are spiralling in Nigeria as militant Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram terrorists escalate their attacks, according to reports from religious liberty watchdog groups active there. As many as 280 people were killed in Christian communities in several attacks spanning February through mid-March 2022 in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, according to varying reports from Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW), Morning Star News and International Christian Concern (ICC). Militants destroyed hundreds of homes and displaced residents.

4,998 Christians murdered: Thirteen Christians a day were killed for their faith in 2023, on average. Nigeria remains the deadliest place to follow Jesus; 82% of killings happened here. Violence only eased during Nigeria’s elections, which accounted for a drop in the number of Christians killed globally compared to 2023.

14,766 churches and Christian properties attacked: The number of attacks on churches and Christian-run schools, hospitals and cemeteries has exploded in 2023, up seven-fold compared to the previous year. It’s been driven by mob violence in India, church closures in China, and attacks in Nigeria, Nicaragua and Ethiopia.

295,120 Christians displaced: When countries are destabilised by war or extremism, Christians are at risk. In 2023, the number of believers forced to flee their homes more than doubled. Across the most dangerous countries for believers in Sub-Saharan Africa, about 3% of all Christians are displaced.

Sadly, the persecution of Christians will no doubt continue for a little while longer, as the prophecy says. We should earnestly pray for these people who find themselves under persecution in these countries.

The Sixth Seal

In the Book of Revelation 6:12 to 17, it says, “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”

To understand the Sixth Seal we need first to look at the prophecy of the Third Temple. The First Temple was destroyed in 586 BC by Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon, when he conquered Jerusalem. The Second Temple was destroyed in 70 CE by Titus, the Roman legion commander in Judea, who put down the Jewish rebellion after recapturing Jerusalem.

In the Book of Matthew 24:15-19, we have a prophecy that specifically warns us against the Antichrist. It says, “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads this, let him understand:). Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!”

The “abomination of desolation” is the Antichrist. The “holy place” is the third temple. In the Book of 2 Thessalonians2:4, it says, “Who opposeth (to be adverse) and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

For this to happen, the Third Temple must be built.

But why was and is a temple needed? The Temple was not only the focus of Jewish religious ritual but also the repository of the Holy Scriptures, the Ten Commandments and other national literature. It was also the meeting place of the Sanhedrin, the highest court of Jewish law during the Roman period.

In the Book of Luke 21:6, Jesus’ had said some 37 years earlier, “As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

Titus, at the time had packed the temple inside and out with logs and set them ablaze. Sandstone, when heated to high temperatures, explodes, thus fulfilling the prophecy that not one stone would be left upon another.

Turning to the future, in the Book of Matthew 24:15-21, it says, When ye, therefore, shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (who so ever reads this, let him understand).”

For this to happen, the third temple must exist and must therefore be built. Orthodox Jewish tradition maintains it is here that the third and final Temple must exist when the Messiah comes.

There is only one problem. On the temple mount is the second holiest mosque in all of Islam, the Dome of the Rock (Qubbat al-Sakhra), on an elevated platform in the middle of the Temple Mount in heart of Jerusalem. It is revered by most Muslims as the spot from which the Prophet Muhammad ascended to Heaven.

That of course is pure, manufactured speculation. Why? In March, 632 CE, the Prophet Muhammad returned to Mecca one last time to perform a pilgrimage, and tens of thousands of Muslims joined him. After the pilgrimage, he returned to Medina. Three months later on 8 June, 632 CE he died there, after a brief illness. He is buried in the mosque in Medina, 1,213 kilometers away from Jerusalem and the Dome of the Rock.

However, since its construction, the Dome of the Rock has been more than a mere structure for Muslims, despite the fact that there is plenty of historical and archaeological evidence that the Temple Mount originally belonged to the Jews and is the most revered holy site for them as it is the location of their first temple, destroyed in 586 BCE, and their second, rebuilt temple, destroyed in 70 CE.

If the Jews physically tore down the Dome of the Rock to rebuild their temple, this would set ablaze the entire Muslim community, the world over. So, for the Third Temple to be rebuilt, which it must, in order fulfil prophecy, the Dome of the Rock would have to be destroyed by some natural event that would be seen as an “Act of God”.

As God uses natural laws, which he created, and nature itself, to execute His grand plan, the only thing that could cause the destruction of the Dome of the Rock is an earthquake. And, such an earthquake would need to be so great that it affects Israel and Jerusalem. It would need to be caused by a sizable geological fault.

What is described in the Sixth Seal are massive volcanic-induced earthquakes of magnitude so great that these shock the world, and will be seen as an “Act of God.” Volcanic materials from this eruption will form a vertical column or plume that may well rise over 40 km (25 miles), penetrating the stratosphere, blocking the sun during the day and turning the moon red at night. It will spew out lava bombs, partially molten rock (tephra) formed when a volcano ejects viscous fragments of lava during an eruption. With such a huge eruption the lava bombs could be hurled as far as 20 km (12 miles) from the vent, as has been recorded by Encyclopaedia Britannica. A pyroclastic flow of huge proportions will leave havoc and destruction in its path. The eruption will be absolutely spectacular, especially at night, and it will strike fear into the hearts of millions of people, and will kill and injure many.

Is such a volcanic eruption predicted that could affect Israel? Absolutely! There is a geological fault that could cause such an eruption and related earthquakes. The Great African Rift Valley stretches from Mozambique in the south to Ethiopia’s confluence of tectonic plates, the Nubian Plate, the Somalian Plate and the Arabian Plate through Israel’s Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee to the Eurasia Plate. The Nubian Plate is moving north-westwards, the Somalian Plate is moving south-eastwards, following the Indian plate while the Arabian Plate is moving northwards.

Tectonic spreading, where two plates move apart. from each other, do not simply move the plates, they also cause plates to rupture, forming a rift and potentially leading to the creation of new plate boundaries. The East African Rift system all the way up to the Eurasia plate is an example of where this is currently happening.

Sixty percent of all active volcanoes occur at the boundaries between tectonic plates. In September 2005, the Earth split apart along a 60-kilometer section of the East African Rift in Afar, Ethiopia. Scientists from the UK, U.S., and Ethiopia determined that the 8-meter rift developed along the 60-kilometre-long in just three weeks. Then, in 2018, a large crack, stretching several kilometers, made a sudden appearance in southwestern Kenya. The tear, which continues to grow, caused part of the Nairobi-Narok highway to collapse. This was caused by the tectonic plates moving apart.

Scientists are predicting that, with the splitting apart of the tectonic plates at a rate of 6-7 mm per year, a new continent will be formed over millions of years. However, they forgot to mention that there are 87 volcanoes along the East African Rift - 53 in Ethiopia, 7 in Uganda, 17 in Kenya, 9 in Tanzania, and 1 in Malawi. There are no active volcanoes located in Mozambique or South Africa.

According to the Journal of Geophysical Research, seismic activity has been constant and, overall, the comprehensive data set composed of 121 earthquakes along the East African Rift shows three distinct patterns in the distribution of focal depths which are interpreted to be related to distinctive stages in the evolution of rift.

The 6000-kilometer-long East African Rift Valley System is the longest continental seismic rift system on earth. The sub-region covers 5.5 million km2 and is inhabited by about 120 million people. The East African Rift Valley is not subject to the high-magnitude earthquakes that we see along subduction zones, such as those in the Ring of Fire—the area in the basin of the Pacific Ocean known for its many earthquakes and volcanic eruptions—which can produce catastrophic consequences, as we’ve recently seen in Japan and Indonesia. In the Rift Valley, residents have not experienced a high-magnitude earthquake in their lifetime, leading many people to deduce that the seismic risk is low or non-existent. But complacency is reckless.

About 25% of the East African Rift’s volcanoes had eruptions in the last 100 years. Therefore, it’s very likely that we will encounter new eruptions in the next decades. As the BBC reported, thousands of people fled their homes in the Democratic Republic of Congo during the night after Mount Nyiragongo erupted.

This resulted in a mass evacuation from the city of Goma, which has a population of about two million people. The volcano, located 10km (six miles) from Goma, last erupted in 2002, killing 250 people and making 120,000 homeless.

As I said, complacency is reckless.

In my calculated determination, a series of major earthquakes and volcanic eruptions will take place in 2027 - of magnitude so great that the spitting of Africa will be accelerated. In the process, the effects will extend north to Israel.

After probing deep below the Dead Sea bed to study the frequency of quakes, researchers from Tel Aviv University warn the area is due for a ‘devastating’ 6.5-magnitude earthquake. “The geological record does not lie and a major earthquake in Israel will come,” said Prof. Shmuel Marco, head of Tel Aviv University’s Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences, in the statement.

This will be the “Act of God” that will destroy the Dome of the Rock and allow the Jews to rebuild their temple – to facilitate prophecy and enable the Antichrist to defile the temple. Interestingly, the Third Temple will be destroyed as well.

The new Jerusalem that Jesus Christ will bring must not be confused with the prophesy of Ezekiel, which, in the Book of Ezekiel, in the Hebrew Bible, New Jerusalem is Ezekiel's prophetic vision of a city centred on the rebuilt Holy Temple, the Third Temple, to be established in Jerusalem, which would be the capital of the Messianic Kingdom, the meeting place of the twelve tribes of Israel, during the Messianic era. But this is not to be. The Third Temple will be destroyed by earthquake as told in Seventh Trumpet Prophecy.

In the Book of Revelation 21:10, it says, “So he carried me away in the power of the spirit to a great and lofty mountain, and he showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.” This will be the new Jerusalem and the Fourth Temple, not the old Jerusalem with its Third Temple defiled by the antichrist.

The science of it all

All volcanoes are connected to a reservoir of molten rock, called a magma chamber, below the surface of the Earth. When pressure inside the chamber builds up, the buoyant magma travels out a surface vent or series of vents, through a central interior pipe or series of pipes. It’s not just earthquakes and erupting volcanoes along the Great African Rift Valley that are going to create havoc but other earthquakes and volcanoes around the world that will add to the mayhem. For example:

Earthquakes (greater than magnitude 6) are considered to be related to a subsequent eruption or to some type of unrest at a nearby volcano. However, volcanoes can only be triggered into eruption by nearby tectonic earthquakes if they are already poised to erupt. This requires two conditions to be met:

·         Enough "eruptible" magma within the volcanic system.

·         Significant pressure within the magma storage region.

The Horn of Africa hosts one of the most active seismic zones on the planet. The Afar Triangle, a geological depression between a triple junction of tectonic plates at the crook of the Horn, is the doorway to the East African Rift System, which is a prime example of divergent tectonic plates pulling away from each other, with the African plate now appearing to be two separate entities — the Somalian tectonic plate and the larger Nubian tectonic plate — moving in opposite directions.

But why is this relevant. We have read Prof. Shmuel Marco’s comments about the expectant earthquake that will hit Israel. The connection is quite simple. The Great Rift Valley is a series of contiguous geographic depressions, approximately 6,000 or 7,000 kilometres in total length that runs from the southern Turkish Hatay Province in Asia, down past Israel, through the Dead Sea and the Red Sea, Somalia and parts of Kenya, Ethiopia, and Tanzania to Mozambique in Southeast Africa.

As the Somali and Nubian tectonic plates continue to pull apart from each other, evidence of Africa splitting apart can be seen in Ethiopia and Kenya. This crack occurred in a specific area of the region called the Afar Triangle. Within this triangle, the land is relatively low in elevation compared to the other land around it.

There are 10 active volcanoes in Kenya. The majority of these are located in the East African rift valley. The active volcanoes in Kenya have all erupted at some point in the last 10,000 years. In Ethiopia the Erta'Ale volcano is the most active and known for its permanent lava-lake activity since 1967. Ethiopia has 50 Holocene volcanoes. Volcanoes included in this partial list below are within the boundaries of Ethiopia. The sequence of volcanic deposits shows that some volcanoes in central Ethiopia, like Corbetti and Aluto, are characterised by between one and four explosive eruptions per millennium. That is up to one every 250 years. Volcanoes that share common magma reservoirs can sometimes trigger unrest at each other.

The Somalian and Nubian plates are also separating from the Arabian plate in the north. These plates intersect in the Afar region of Ethiopia, creating a Y-shaped rift system. The three limbs of the Afar triple junction zone experience major earthquakes, as well as frequent volcanic eruptions and dike intrusions. The magnitude of earthquakes during volcano-tectonic events is usually less than M6, but large volumes of magma accommodating plate openings may occur during these intense, smaller magnitude swarms.

The Red Sea, up to the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba, experiences on average 5,9 earthquakes per year ranging from M3 to M6.9. The Gulf of Aqaba at the southern tip of Israel is characterized by significant seismic activity and high deformation rates, making it a major source of destructive earthquakes in the region. The Dead Sea Fault, a 1,000 km long continental transform structure, has produced at least 14 historical earthquakes with magnitudes ≥6.0 since 551 AD. Should such an earth quake hit Jerusalem, it would destroy the Dome of the Rock and allow the third temple to be rebuilt. Is this possible. Yes! So, with a double whammy of volcanoes and tectonic plates, this could trigger a chain reaction and produce the earthquake that Prof. Shmuel Marco has spoken about.

An example of how tectonic plates can cause massive earthquakes, is Turkey’s recent 7.8 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes that rocked southeast Turkey near the Syrian border.

At least 56,000 people were killed by the 6 February, 2023, 7.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred in southern Turkey near the northern border of Syria. This quake was followed approximately nine hours later by a magnitude 7.5 earthquake located around 95 kilometres to the southwest. The two earthquakes were associated with the East Anatolian Fault system, which runs northeast-southwest through southern Türkiye, close to the Syrian border. This left-lateral-strike-slip-fault accommodates the motion of Earth’s tectonic plates. The westward motion along the fault, at a rate of between 6 and 10 millimetres per year, makes the region prone to quakes.

The deadliest earthquake in the Middle East occurred on the 11 October 1138 in Aleppo, Syria, in the Dead Sea Fault system, that killed 230,000 people.

The Seventh Seal

There is much debate among Biblical scholars as to whether the Rapture of born-again Christians, those who are born again of the water and of the spirit, is at the beginning of the great tribulation, or in the middle, or at the end of the tribulation period. The answer to this debate is found in the Holy Bible. In the Book of Jeremiah 31:21, it says, “Set up road signs; put up guideposts. Take note of the highway, the road that you take.” The Bible, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and those who wrote the books of the Bible, gave us the signposts to the future so that we who are watching would recognise the signs that show us the way.

In the Book of Luke 21:36 it says,”Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” This is repeated in the Book of Revelation 3:3, where it says, “Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore, if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”

In the Book of Revelation 8:1, it says, “And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.” This just before the seven angels with the seven trumpets were about to sound. What is so special about this “half hour” respite. In the Book of Revelation 7: 3 it says, “Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”

But who exactly are the servants of God? If the Jews do not believe in Jesus Christ, then why does the Book of Revelation 7:4 say, “And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.” As it is not our place to question God, we must just accept that the 144,000 (9) Jews will be raptured (taken into Heaven).

Being a faithful servant, according to the Bible, is a devoted and helpful follower, to be humble before God, to be ready to act as God nudges and inspires us, to help meet the needs of other people, and to remember that it is not about money or reward, but about love for our fellow human beings. Any person who has been born again, of the water and of the spirit, is a servant of God. These are people who, as in the Book of Deuteronomy 5:33, “Walk in obedience to all that the Lord God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.” And, in Heaven.

In the Book of 1 Peter 4:10-11, it says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

If you have truly been born again, of the water and of the spirit, you will have been given a gift of the spirit – by the Holy Spirit. In the Book of Corinthians 12:1-14, it says, “Brothers and sisters, I want you to know about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You know that at one time you were unbelievers. You were somehow drawn away to worship statues of gods that couldn’t even speak. So, I want you to know that no one who is speaking with the help of God’s Spirit says, “May Jesus be cursed.” And without the help of the Holy Spirit no one can say, “Jesus is Lord.”

“There are different kinds of gifts. But they are all given to believers by the same Spirit. There are different ways to serve. But they all come from the same Lord. There are different ways the Spirit works. But the same God is working in all these ways and in all people.”

“The Holy Spirit is given to each of us in a special way. That is for the good of all. To some people the Spirit gives a message of wisdom. To others the same Spirit gives a message of knowledge. To others the same Spirit gives faith. To others that one Spirit gives gifts of healing. To others he gives the power to do miracles. To others he gives the ability to prophesy. To others he gives the ability to tell the spirits apart. To others he gives the ability to speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before. And to still others he gives the ability to explain what was said in those languages. All the gifts are produced by one and the same Spirit. He gives gifts to each person, just as he decides.”

“There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so, we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. So, the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts.”

Now, today, it is incumbent on all born again Christians, to evangelise. This does not necessarily mean standing on a street corner preaching the world of God. You can evangelise by allowing the Holy Spirit to show you how to use your Gift of the Spirit to do so. It is unlikely that an introvert will stand on a street corner preaching God’s word but will rather quietly converse with an unbeliever and in so doing save that person’s soul. But evangelise we must, even if it’s to save one soul.

In the Book of Matthew 28:16-20, it says, “Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Then of course, at the end of the age, the naysayers will say that the word “rapture” does not exist in the Bible. Quite so. But there are clear references to the rapture. For example, in talking about His return, the 2nd Advent, in the Book of Matthew 24:40-41, Jesus says, “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.” Those left behind will be the unbelievers and those not born again, the lukewarm Christians.

Jesus, knowing of His coming crucifixion and resurrection, assured His disciples in the Book of John 14:1-3, and said, “Let not your heart be troubled. Ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

The Apostle Paul was one of the most influential leaders of the early Christian church. He played a crucial role in spreading the gospel to the world. Before his conversion, Paul was known as Saul and was "a Pharisee of Pharisees", who "intensely persecuted" the followers of Jesus. One day, on a journey, and as he neared Damascus, a light from heaven suddenly flashed around him. Blinded by the light, he fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" Saul asked, "Who are you, Lord? "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. Jesus then said, “Go, for you are a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before Gentiles, kings, and Israelites,” (Book of Acts 9:15). He then did as Jesus commanded, and, in so doing, Jesus restored Saul's sight – and baptized him. After his conversion, Saul, determined to bring the gospel to the Gentiles, dusted off his Roman name and became known as Paul.

The Apostle (chief disciple) Paul is often considered to be the most important person after Jesus in the history of Christianity. His epistles (letters) have had enormous influence on Christian theology, especially on the relationship between God the Father and Jesus, and on the mystical human relationship with the divine.

The Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of Colossians 3:4, “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Again, the Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

The words “we which are alive and remain” were written because a massive earthquake, as described in the Book of Revelation 6:12-17, will take place and many lives will be lost. However, as Paul assures us, born-again Christians, as written in the Book of 1 Thessalonians 5:9, where it says, “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”

This is confirmed in the Book of Revelation 7:9, wherein John of Patmos says, “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.”

Further confirmation of this comes again in the Book of Revelation 7:13-14, where John tells us, “And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Although Christians comprise just under a third of the world's people, they form a majority of the population in 158 countries and territories, about two-thirds of all the countries and territories in the world. With a 17% growth rate, almost 2.56 billion people will have identified as Christians by the middle of 2024. It is the largest-religion by population respectively. Sadly though, not all of the 2,56 billion will be raptured. Many will be left behind.

After the rapture, and of those remaining, the previously lukewarm Christians, they will realise what has happened. Of these, some will take the mark of the beast, the antichrist, while others will refuse to do so and will be persecuted. Some will flee to the wilderness where they will survive the tribulation period – the Seven Trumpets and the Seven Vials. The question is, will you be able to survive in the wilderness? Away from the antichrist.

REMEMBER THIS: While you are alive, you can repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Even if your physical body is killed, your soul will be saved, and you will rise again in Christ Jesus. So, do not fear physical death, the spiritual death and damnation into Hell is, by far, the worst.
